Tab Glyphs are graphical symbols specifically designed to represent time abbreviations related to numbers, with a project focus on creating symbols that depict commonly used time abbreviations in everyday life. When designing the glyphs, the goal is to maintain the legibility of the corresponding letters and numbers while forming a cohesive symbol. For this design project, the chosen time abbreviations to represent are “B4 Before”, “G2G Got To Go”, “L8 Late”, “W8 Wait”, and “9T Night”.

The Tab Cafe functioned as a stronger context for the Tab Glyphs, where customers will adapt to express their attitudes when making purchases. For instance, individuals who are often late or tardy would order the L8 Latte. Someone who needs to pull an all-nighter will purchase the 9T Expresso.
