Book Redesign
This project involves a redesign of George Bernard Shaw's play, Pygmalion. The play revolves around Professor Henry Higgins, an expert in linguistics, who undertakes a bet to transform a clumsy flower seller into a refined young lady by refining her manners and speech.
Drawing inspiration from the black and white nature of the original play, the redesign highlights the concept of the book turning black when the curtains close.
The central focus of this redesign is to depict the evolving speech and grammar throughout the story. Liza's initially irritating and distinctive speech becomes less prominent as the acts progress.
